I’ve been asked a few times what the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever done to my hair was. No, it wasn’t that time I bleached it white. No, it wasn’t that time I dyed it pink.
It’s the time I had THREE+ FOOT EXTENSIONS and decided that I’d put them in spiral curls every. morning.

Have you ever heard of such insanity!?
Despite my best efforts, I’m just not made to wield such EPIC hair. I’m a bit obsessive about keeping my hair neat, and I spent 2 hours every night and AGAIN every morning making sure it wasn’t tangled or matted. It still ended up looking… less than attractive.
I know it’s pretty weird for me to go “AAAAAAAH IT DROVE ME NUTS!” and then encourage you by posting tips, but I learned a lot while my hair was like that.
- Hair of this magnitude MUST be sewn in. If you glue it, it will tug at the bonds and fall out. If you clip it in, it will yank at your roots and leave welts on your scalp. When you start hitting the 3+ pound mark, it’s time to commit some time and effort to making sure it’ll stay up and the weight is evenly distributed.
- Detangle and wrap your hair EVERY NIGHT BEFORE BED… If you don’t want to cut yourself out of your hair in the morning. Detangle by combing gently from ends to roots. Then, tie a scarf around your head. Braid the hair that hangs from underneath the wrap.
- When possible, avoid lots of styling products. The hair is heavy enough, alone. Spraying it full of gunk will have your neck ready to snap in two! Plus, when you’re not used to this kind of length, it is SO HARD to wash! Simplify your routine by letting the length speak for itself and not trying to get fancy every day.
- Don’t be too cheap to trim. I know hair of that length will cost you a pretty penny, but (as with all things) Quality Beats Quantity (or in this case, length.) Once the ends start to fray or you get lazy one night and allow it to become a fuzzy boa-constrictor, get a hair-cut.

CupcakexCouture has a post about eyelashes. It’s in Finnish, but Google Chrome’s translator does a decent enough job and she is GREAT about posting lots of photos. There’s also a helpful youtube link in there, if you’re new to lash-wearing.
For a super-informative post about eyelash trends in English, check out my favorite website: Universal Doll! Also @ The Doll: a post about new nail trends in gyaru. This was particularly interesting to me because Disney has strict rules about nails & make-up. I found out that Nude nails are trending, so I won’t have any problem looking gal on my off-days.
Cheeserland has me in awe of her style, dramatic photography, and jetsetting life! I can’t get over how beautiful the photos in this post are. Check it out! <3
As you know, hair is my main focus. Chaigyaru recently made my day with this mini-collage of hair adventures.

Been watching that sidebar, wondering when the first of my “Soon to Post” list was going to be fulfilled?
No, eh?
Well, that’s fine. I keep my promises, even when they fall on deaf ears.
And here it is:
I’m packed! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
Sadly, I’ve been more stressed out preparing for this move than I imagined I would be. I’m more relieved than giddy. On the bright side:
Would you have really been interested in a long post about me packing? I think not.
What YOU’RE waiting for starts day after tomorrow:
Arrival Date Adventures! My first day actually AT Disney World will get it’s own post with my usual smattering of tomfoolery.
